Happy birthday to Herb Alpert, born this day in 1935! Here's a 1966 Scopitone for Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass's "Bittersweet Samba"--"allegedly directed by Robert Altman." I will never again hear this song without thinking of "Rebel Without a Pause," though.
