The reason I googled Young is because I just read a biography about him called "Live Fast, Love Hard" by Diane Diekman. I couldn't put it down, and came away with a deep appreciation for his life, and his music. Since you are a fan of his, I thought you might like to read it yourself. Too bad he died before his time.
Hi Linda, I too have read this biography on Faron Young. Although he died before his time, he's still in a way living on. I loved Faron Young, and I thought Diane Diekman wrote very well about him in her book Live Fast, Love Hard: The Faron Young Story. My mum loved him as well so I actually bought two copies so we could enjoy it together.
